With all the changes to the Web since the Post first got it's website it has long been time for a major upgrade to the site. Recently, National developed a customizable site template with a lot of features that the old site just doesn't have. Additionally, the site is fully mobile compatible where the old one is not. Recently, National developed a platform with a customizable site template with a lot of features that the old site just doesn't have. Additionally, the site is fully mobile compatible where the old one is not. One of these improvements is that Nationals calendar feeds to our calendar and once District and Department come on board with the new platform their calendars will feed to ours as well.
Some of the other upgrades are:
- Updated graphics and layout
- A remembrance page for the Comrades we have lost
- A Sponsors scroll and sponsor pages that we can use to raise money for our programs
- A hall rental calendar
- A much more user friendly news and announcement section
- Search Engine Optimization to let potential new members find us easier
- An easier email blast
- A Discounts page
